K9 Harry had served the Audubon County (Iowa) Sheriff's Department since 2010. K9 Harry was trained to search for drugs (and the
criminals who deal in it).

He and his handler, Officer Jim Zimmerman, participated in many Hero Thrill Shows, which raise funds for college expenses for the children of slain officers, and won several awards in USPCA police dog competitions. RIP Danny Boy. Thank you for your service.

Told he wouldn't live more than a month or two but was still adopted and given a happy retirement. Because of his condition, he used a doggie wheelchair until his pas
