K9 Kauen

K9 Kauen is a dual purpose K9, both explosive and patrol trained. He loves, loves his job but also enjoys his down time with his family. K9 Kauen is 6 years old and is currently serving in New Jersey.

K9 Harry

End Of Watch: 03-28-15

K9 Harry, 6, a Belgian Tervuren, succumbed to critical injuries sustained In the line of duty when he and his handler, Deputy Young, were in a car accident en route to backup fellow officers. K9 Harry had served the Audubon County (Iowa) Sheriff's Department since 2010. K9 Harry was trained to search for drugs (and the 

criminals who deal in it). 

K9 Toby

K9 Toby served the Jupiter Police Department in Jupiter, Florida, with his handler, Officer Scott Kimbark. He is greatly missed.

K9 Danny Boy

K9 Danny Boy served the Philadelphia Police Department as a patrol and explosives detection dog. He and his handler, Officer Jim Zimmerman, participated in many Hero Thrill Shows, which raise funds for college expenses for the children of slain officers, and won several awards in USPCA police dog competitions. RIP Danny Boy. Thank you for your service.

K9 Lyas

K9 Lyas proudly served Canadian County Sheriff's Office (OK) from 2012-2017 beside his handler, Deputy Kyle Bridges. End of watch September 21, 2017.

K9 Ace

K9 Ace served the Brownville Police Department,

MWD Britt

MWD Britt L130- Patrol Explosive Detector Dog End of Watch 9/20/15

MWD Britt was an incredibly decorated combat veteran. Two Bronze Star Medals, Army Commendation w/ Valor, Army Commendation Medal, Iraqi Campaign Medal w/ 2 Campaign Stars, Afghanistan Campaign Medal w/ 2 Campaign Stars. "Be at peace finally my faithful brother. I, along with many other men, would not be here if it were not for your incredible bravery and ability."

K9 Ciga

K9 Ciga, a German Shorthaired Pointer born in Croatia, is currently serving as a narcotics and tracking officer with the Cuyahoga County Sheriff's Office. He is a very well loved family member 

and K9 partner. 

K9 Evan

K9 Evan was the most successful K9 in the history of the Monmouth County (NJ) Sheriff Office, seizing over 1.4 million in cash alone and being responsible for hundreds of arrests. He was also very popular at demos; the kids could hug and hang on his neck. He is greatly missed by his handler, Officer Kroeper. He was greatly loved as his faithful partner and a special part of 

Officer Kroeper's family.

K9 Obi

K9 Obi valiantly served the Covington, GA, Police Department. RIP K9 Obi


K9 Grom

End of watch March 6, 2015. K9 Grom valiantly served the Springfield MA Police Department and is greatly missed by the department, as well as his partner/handler, Officer Jasinski.

K9 Baron

End of watch December 2017. He worked for the Philadelphia Police Department. He enjoyed his work very much, and even worked the Army-Navy game the day he died. RIP K9 Baron.

K9 Diego

K9 Diego is still working for the Bartlett Police Department, Tennessee

Middletown, Indiana Police Department

K 9 Gizmo was trained in 5 narcotics building search, area search, tracking, suspect apprehension and handler
protection.  He loved kids and people and loved attention all around.  Everybody in town loved him.

CWD Caras

Retired in 2014 and was diagnosed with lumbosacral disease.  AMK9 brought him home from Afghanistan in March 2014 where he was put up for adoption through Pipers Playhouse.  Told he wouldn't live more than a month or two but was still adopted and given a happy retirement. Because of his condition, he used a doggie wheelchair until his passing. He did not want to give up and fought to the end to stay alive. Search The Caras Foundation in facebook to read his story.
